An Ensign to the World!

2 And it shall come to pass in the ^alast days, that the ^bmountain of the Lord’s ^chouse shall be ^destablished in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all ^enations shall flow unto it. -Isaiah 2:2
12 And he shall set up an ^aensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Isaiah 11:12

This temple, like all temples is very symbolic and represents an ensign to the world of Jesus Christ's restored church upon the earth. In 2001, the Salt Lake City winter Olympics took place near the temple and all nations did in fact flow unto it...the Salt Lake valley and were able to visit Temple Square and see the beauty of this temple and its grandeur.Prophecy's from the Old Testament and ancient scripture are being fulfilled all the time, however only those with eyes to see and ears to hear will notice what is happening throughout the world.

1. Acts 28: 27
   27 For the ^aheart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their ^beyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

If we listen to the Holy spirit and take it as our guide, we will be blessed. We must seek after spiritual things to understand God's will for us. Something to think about on this Sabbath Day.
